Christmas Morning!

We had such a wonderful Christmas. As you can see Rob made his perfect homemade Hamburger with everything on it, It was Great!!! The kids loved opening presents. Chloe was really into it this year. she could do it all by herself. Hailey had to play with everything before she would put it down to open another present. Caleb also wanted everything ipen right then before another one was open.
We also had "Christmas Angels" this year who did 12 days of Christmas for us. It was so much fun and we all looked forward to what would be coming next. On Christmas day we got a movie, that is why the kids are sitting do nicely on the couch, I think they were a bit tired too but no one will say so.
So thank you for a wonderful Christmas. Hope yours was as much fun as ours!

28 and counting!

On this day 28 years ago my mom was in the hospital with a brand new baby girl! Yep that was me!
Stuffed in a stocking with a cute little Santa hat on. (I wish I had a picture to show you but they are all at my parents house.)
They always told me that Santa dropped me off and left me in the window hanging there just waiting for them to wake up and get me. However it was I'm sure glad that I ended up with me family and that Mrs. Clause sends a Birthday Cake to me every year! She makes the best by the way!

Caleb's Christmas Party

Last night was Caleb's school's Christmas party and he got to sing to us. His class sang Frosty the Snowman and No L (the alphabet sand to Noel but don't sing the L it was very cute!).
It was so much fun. They also fed us dinner which was a great one by the way- Mashed potatoes Chicken(fried and roasted) dinner rolls, green salad, and even cookies and pies for desert.

Then when we got home Chloe decided to climb in bed with Hailey. she thought it was the best fun!

O Christmas Tree

This is our very pretty christmas tree. Nothing too elebrate but all the lights work now.
There are hardly any ornaments around the bottom, I guess that is Chloe's play area and i don't want any of mine to get broken or lost.
And Yes that is the star that Rob and I made our first Chirstmas together. It is made out of cardstock and tinfoil. It has seen better days I'm afaird it is not going to last much longer but we will se what happens.

playing in the snow

We had so much fun playing in the first snow fall that we had. We were very happy to come in though and get our nice hot cup of hot chocolate. I love how the kids cheeks got to red, It makes me really think winter is here to stay.

re-cap

So be side me not feeling well most of the week we did get a few things done.
1-Moved the furniture so we had a lace for the tree.
2-Put the tree up.
3-Put light on the tree, then plugged them in to find out if they worked, which they didn't so I had to take them off.
4-Buy new light to put on the tree.
5-Decorate the tree or at least whach the kids decorate and take off and re-decorate the tree.
6-I made Cookies! I have a Santa Cookie Jar and it needed to be filled.
And later today we will go play in the snow! Hopefully pictures will soon follow.

Tried and sick

The mommy at this house is very sick. Chloe is feeling pretty sick too. with both of us just lounging all day it makes for a very crazy house and nothing is getting done. ex.-- the dishes are piled high, the laundry baskets are overflowing, the floor looks bad cause it hasn't been vacuumed, the mom stinks cause she needs to shower but is too tired.
Chloe just wants to be held and she wants to hold a bottle not nessacarily drink it but just hold it.  And she needs to have a blanket and her cow which she calls "moo-moo".
Hailey is doing pretty good putting up with us but I'm afraid that it won't be long until she says that she is not feeling well either.
We had to cancel our Shriner's appointment today, We have a new one for next week now. Chloe is supposed to get her first x-rays, it is sort of exciting.  Hopefully we all feel better to go next week and we won't have to cancel again.

New hair do

Chloe thought she would try something new last night, She even used the Dinglehopper it seemed to work great and met her satisfaction.

Christmas TAG!!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper all the way for Christmas.

2. Real tree or Artificial? I love real, but lately we've only had artificial trees. I guess it has helped us save some money though, right.
 
3. When do you put up the tree? When ever I can get the space I need for the tree in the living room.
 
4. When do you take the tree down? on New Years Day or Eve, depending on how stuffy the little apartment is.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes. Mixed with milk, cold and hot!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I thnk it might have been my Teddy Rexbin bear. I always remember watching the show on TV while gettign ready for school. I also got this really cool jeanie pjs that my Grandma made that just really cool and she made one for my doll to so that we could match.

7. Hardest person to buy for? My Dad. As a kid I think he got a new toolbox every year because we knew that he could use that, but now I think he might have too many...
 
8. Easiest person to buy for? The kids, and my Mom and my Dusty (we all like the same stuff).

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes. I have used it for many Sunday School lessons.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? in the Mail! It is super fun to get post any time of year!!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don't know... I guess if I got one it must have been bad enought that I blocked it from my memory.
 
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Hands down, A Christmas Carol, This has always been my favorite story!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? The first time I go shopping and say to myself, "this would be great for so-and-so."
 
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't recall ever doing that, now wedding gifts I know I have.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Rob's parents homemade yummies!

16. Lights on the tree? Yes.

17. Favorite Christmas song? I like all of them. (Mostly from the Hymn book)
 
18. Travel at Christmas or stay at home?  We are staying home this year, like last year.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzon, and RUDOLPH!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We have star that we made our First christmas together and it still looks great!

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? I have always waited for Christmas Morning but last year we let the kids open new PJ's and they thought it was the coolest!

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? To see Christmas stuff out at the store before Halloween is even over. Come guys I think we wait alittle bit longer don't you?

23. What theme or color are you using to decorate? No, we all make some ornaments and just use what every have.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?  (this is actually for Christmas Eve)Rob brought the tradition of having homemade burgers with ALL the fixings ( this includes all the regualer stuff like tomates, lettuce, cheese, bacon, pickles, and then also avacados, mushrooms, fried onions or onion rings, and anything else that sounds good on a burger) also don't forget the chips and soda of your choice. Yumm I can hardly wait.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I haven't even thought about myself yet, I am tring to get the rest of the family taken care of first!

26. Does Christmas mean Santa or Christ's birth to you? Christmas means Christ's birth, but Santa is always a fun part of Christmas too. I think you can easily do Santa and still remember the real reason for the Christmas season. Santa is a pretty giving person, and I think we can use him as another example of the kind of person Jesus is.

27. Do you go to Church on Christmas? If it's on a Sunday.

28. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays? Both. I probably SAY Merry Christmas more often though. I also like to hear Happy Birthday!!

29. Do you wear Christmas sweat shirts or sweaters? no I don't have any.
 
30. Do you put up outside lights? I''m sure I will when I have ahouse of my own. When I lived at home I always help my Dad put the light up, I even bought a good deal of them.

Tired Hailey

After a great night (at least some of us) at the hotel we gathered together for a family pic after church and this was how Hailey reacted.
needless to say she almost immediately fall asleep in the car on the long journey home.
Hopefully we will get a better picture next time.

one night in a hotel/motel

We decided to take a night away from the rest of the family on Saturday. It was a great choice, not becuse we dont love you but we just needed  a good nights rest before our car ride home the next day and we didn'tr want to be sleeping on the floor again.
The kids got to watch TV on this huge screen and Rob got some last min homework done. Chloe and I went for a walk and then she had a nice long bath ( that was the night she really started to have her diarriaha really bad).
too bad we forgot to bring swimsuits, they had anice pool. We did get a great cont. breakfest.
Just in case your wondering we were at the Hyatt it was super nice!
 

Thanksgiving at the Davidson's Home

We ( all 20 of us) squished to gether in the basement of my parents home for an early thanksgiving dinner. It was greatto be there together. And YES Jodi we did miss you! but I don't know if there would have been room for you with that eatra big belly!!

Help packing

This pretty much tells it all. I had a lot of help packing to get ready to go on our trip. I didn't count how many time I had to repack my suitcase.
Chloe had lots of fun empting it and getting inside. I guess she really want to make sure she was going to come with us.
