2nd project DONE!!!

A few weeks ago I showed you my fabric. I finished the girls curtains and now finally late last night Rob helped and we finished the Front room curtains.

All I can saw is our front room window is Enormous!Here it is all finished and hung!

New and Old

I found this great project to do with you old holey jeans. You can read about it here.

The girls thought it was just great to have new skirts to wear today.
It was extra fun too, because they matched!
And yeah for me i got one more thing off my list!!

We live in a FANCY House!!

This is our front room window before. all we had was blinds. sometimes they would work and sometimes they would not.

these are our new Curtains. they have a little leaf design on them. they look really nice!!

this how how they tie up to let the light in. It was a combined effort on the design for them. Rob mostly came up with it.
It looks great doesn't it!

When we got them hung up this afternoon we just had to stand back and admirer them, Rob commented that "Wow! we live in such a Fancy house!" I totally agree. It is amazing what you can do with a rental to makel it feel more like yours!

What to do with left-overs?

No, we are not talking about food.
I have a few scrape pieces of material and this is what we have done with them.
It was fun to do and actually not too time consuming. It is done today, it has taken me a week to complete. just working on it here and there. when the kids were busy doing other things, and when the bed was cleaned off so I could lay it out on there.

All of the fleece cut out for the backside. So much cutting is involved for this!

It is so Soft!! I think the Baby will love it.

Curtains

Yesterday afternoon during the kids' naps I made the curtains that go in
Caleb and Hailey's room.
I was so happy that they ended up the same size. they look pretty good don't you agree?
