Lets go Fly a Kite!

After much waiting we finally got to go fly the kite on Saturday.

Caleb and Hailey and Dad mostly played the kite while Chloe and Edwin and me walked around and played games.

Edwin is haveing lots of fun watching everybody. and trying not to get to much wind in his face.

Chloe finally decided that she wants a turn.



We had lots of fun and were surprised that the kite is still in one piece. We will get to go another day.

Time

Finally after being here for one year we have a clock!!!
No more wondering about what time it is while sitting in the front room.



Yes, Allison I am a copycat and it looks just like yours. I feel in love with yours and was super happy when I found that Shopko had only one left on sale, it must have been fate cause I do really love it and think it makes the whole room.

Fort Building

Besides laying outside in the Green Stuff and having the sun shine down on you...

The kids found all the cut off branches from the fruit trees in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard and made a Fort.

They were pretty happy with the result and stayed out and played for hours, even though it wasn't even the warmest day out there. (notice the green stuff that they picked and put on the branches to help camouflage it.)

We had lots of fun right up until Edwin dumped my melted butter for my shrimp all over me. then I was ready to leave.

Picking up Eggs with Grandma

While In Boise we had the chance to go with Grandma and get eggs from one of her neighbors. Of course we had to see the chickens and they also brought out the bunny to show off to the kids too. they also gave the kids yummy chocolate chip cookies. It is fun being a kid!

The bunny was super soft.

Grandma's Pre-School

While in Pocatello My kids had the chance to go to Pre-school with Grandma. She teaches preschool to her grand kids and a couple of friends.
this was a special day because it was a holiday, St, Patrick's!
They learned all about who St. Patrick was and why we honor him. I would love to live in Ireland-- No Snakes!

Aunt Jerrie Brought Leprechaun coins for all the kids. Chloe thought it was pretty cool that she could stick it to her head.

they all had to write something, and then got a huge STAMP on the paper. Caleb was pretty happy about that.

Hailey is working very hard on her connect the dots. She also want a huge stamp on her paper!

It was so much fun to spend the day with Grandma. Can we be invited to Pre-school again?

Home At Last!

Sometimes the drive seems everlasting, what more can I say.
WE arrived home to our Pullman around 5:00 p.m. I'm so glad that we are home. I am not so glad to be right back on a crazy schedule tomorrow morning bright and early but it will be good to get back in the swing of things.
the rest of the trip went well and I will be reporting on that when I have some more time.

In Boise

We are here in boise. We know our trip is coming to an end when we make it here. Hopefully we have a good end of our week here and no more drama happens. while we were in Pocatello the following happened~~




Edwin had super runny diapers every day, It must be the Water there.

We went out to eat with my parents and Edwin was sitting on my lap, big mistake, my dinner ended up on my lap. I forget that he is a "grabby goblin" now.

Edwin keeps getting up multipy times during the night. It is being hard on me.

My cough is really bad on some days. I feel really sick, ready to go home.

It snowed the first day we were there. Brr.

Because of the snow my Parents basement decided to flood.

Grandma had to cancel pre-school on Monday due to a wet basement.



I hope it gets better beofre it gets worse.

in Pocatello

We are fianlly here. We got here last night. On our was here I have had to clean up throw-up, Have been peed on, have seen 6 deer in the middle on the road, and had the car break down.
As for the car breaking down it happened an hour away form Pocatello so My Dad with his awesome car fixing skills came out to save us.
thanks dad for being so AWESOME!!!!
We are here. I hope we have no more problems while on the road.

Something fun

So at our dollar store they had these way cute little Treasure Boxes!
I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a kids project. They loved it too!!
It was a good way to keep them busy for a while, they would have stayed there painting all day if I let them. they love to have little projects. I just need to get better at letting them do them. they also had a ton of fun bringing them in from drying and putting a treasure inside. It is fun to see what kind of treasures end up inside them.

He also got 3 shots today, but he hardly cried at all. He is so big.

He has started singing, he also pats the beat when he hears music. what a smarty pants!

It has been a long week.

So If any of you have noticed I haven't been around for about a week.
Our computer got really REALLY sick. We didn't know if we were going to be able to revive it. Stupid Viruses!! Really who ever came up them is very RUDE!
But I am back, I am going to try to get caught up on every ones blog and whatnot but it will take a while.
And be careful I would hate for any of you to get a bug on your computer.
