New roof

Old Roof

Getting all the new stuff. Zacchy was really enjoying watching them get everything on the roof.

Problems in the roof. that ended up in a whole sheeting of the roof. that ended up costing 30% more then the quote. :(

New Oven

I've been without an oven for two weeks, We tried to replace the heating element but it still didn't work. Rob really wanted to figure out what the problem was so I let him tinker for a week. It still wasn't working so I went and bought a new one. I'm so happy now. Plus it cooks nicely too.

The Wall

I know it is not Halloween but this is the picture that shows the wall. What it looked like before. If you looks closely right above Rob's head and the family picture and right to the right of the clock you can see some funny marks on the wall. They were a mess to fix. Rob gets so mad just thinking about it.  After much work we finally got to the next step.

We decided to retexture the whole wall so it would all match.

this is where those funny spots were. if you look close then you can see the white behind the spots.
Painting!

More Painting!!
I love  how the fireplace stands out more then it did before. And you can't even see those bad spots on the wall.
We just need to do one more cost and then I get my new floor!!!

Old and New

I went to open the fridge on Wednesday and broke the handle right off. It was loose and my good yank didn't help it much.  It has now made a new home in the garage next to the freezer.
So my dear Rob let me look at new ones at the store while he went the other direction to find something else, which he ended up not being able to find. Came back to find me and we bought a new fridge.

this lovely new fridge is the newest member of the household.
It makes ice and has a water dispenser in the door. FUN!!!
It is much bigger inside  too. I'm so excited!
It fits perfectly in the spot too. I was really worried it would be to tall or to wide but I guess it was meant to be.
In love!

Oops

This is what happens when you just let things FLY. Like the door when you come running inside.

so this will be our new project, fix the whole. Or make a bigger hole....
We will keep you posted on that one.

Cutting

We were in formed by our home owner's insurance that we had some trees that needed to be "trimmed" or our insurance was over. So we got right on that and decided that they best plan of action was just to cut it down. It was planted way to close to the chouse to be able to cut it 5 ft away.

I love watching Rob be HANDY!!!
