Fun on campus again

The beginging of a new school year.

To celebrate we met Rob at school/work and had a picnic style dinner in his office. I made chicken salad sandwiches and if I do say so myself I did a pretty yummy job! After our little dinner we headed up to the CUB. It was movie night. We watched Kung Fu Panda 2 and thought it was so much fun. After we headed back to Rob's offie to pick up our stuff and of course the kids had to do thier Kung Fu all the way.

Edwin was just haivng fun riding on Daddy's shoulders. (and playing with his hat.)

this is one of Izzy's favorite places. I know it doesn't really look like she is very happy right now but believe me she loves it there. I put her in there and in a matter of minutes she goes to sleep. It is nice for me too cause then I have free arms to hold hands, with the kids or with Rob :)

We are happy that WSU plays family films. We have it planned already all the Friday nights that we will be going to the school together and watching movies, and having dinner there. This family night only cost us $2!! Amazing right?!?!

Meet the teacher's

The fall is right around the corner, I can tell beacause of which stars are in the sky at night.

I can also tell because this week school has started for three people at my house. Wsu started Monday for Rob. It will be interesting to see how we get through the next two semesters- they should be our last! Rob, if he keep on track, will be graduating in May! You will be able to call him Dr. Rob! Won't that be exciting? We are all very SUPER excited for him around here.

School also started for Caleb and Hailey. they are super excited, We have lots of excitment in our house can you tell?!?

I hope they stay excited about school all year long.

After his first day he informed me, "Mom, thanks for putting me in the right class."

You see he wasn't very excited when he saw that one of his friends was in the other class. He didn't want to go but, I made him! good for me, right? Anyways, He was happy that I made him go cause he really enjoyed and had fun.

Caleb had Ms."B" so both Hailey and Ms."B" were excited to see each other.

I think it is going to be a great year. We will keep you posted on things to come.

There's my name!

We got to find out whose classes are kids will be in. Hailey was super excited to find her name. Caleb on the other hand was a little disappionted, his best friend is in the other class.

I still bet it will be a great year, for both of them.

Who's in the yard?

Rob and I went to an Elder's Quorum party this evening and came home to find this in our backyard.

I heard more then this but could only see the one. You can't tell in the picture but this guy was looking right at me while I was taking the picture. A little freaky but totally cool!

Edwin's New Game

Edwin is ver creative. He made this game up all by himself. He couls only dance while Rob was holding his burp-rags. He had us laughing.

Today was our last day with our BFF's.

Gwen and Jack spent the day with us while thier mom and dad fille dthe truck and cleaned the house.

It was a long day but we had so much fun.

We were also so happy to be a help to them. (really enjoyed every last second we had with this family!)

They both carry a pocket knife, and want to go camping- sad we didn't get to take advantage of their skills. we will have to plan a get together someday.

BFF'S

We have all decided it is hard to live in a place where people are only here for a limited time.

My kids have had a hard summer.

Mostly Caleb. He has almost decide to just not make any friends anymore cause they just end up moving away. Sad thing is the next summer it could be us!

We lost our favorite nieghbors in June- they moved to Idaho Falls to work at the Site. We loved doing things with them. And we both would watch each other kids at the spur of the moment, if needed. It is hard to lose good friends.

And it continues.

We will be losing another very Awesome family on Tuesday.

Even Izzy is losing her friend that she has had during the whole pregnancy. Her and little Lucy are only two days apart! See how cute they are together!

Our kids and thier kids love getting together. It has been so nice to trade of babysitting from one week to the next for us to go out. I will always feel grateful for them for having our kids spend the night at thier house when Izzy was born.

We only have a few more days but we are really gong to make them count. Tomorrow we are planning on letting the kids play in the pool.
