I must say it was fun to watch but I was counting down the days until I could say,

 "Rob go and shave your face!"

 

He had fun though, and I'm happy for that.

First decorations of the season

Edwin and Izzy helped ut up the first decorations of the season.

Happy Birthday (twice around!)

We were finally able to celebrate Hailey's birthday on Tuesday.

She was so excited to finally have Daddy home and time for us to have CAKE!! and of course PRESENTS!!!



 

We also celebrated Caleb's birthday on Thursday! Yummy Cheesecake!

 

I can't believe my babies are getting so big. I now have a 9, 7,5,3, and 1 yr old. CrAzY!!!!!

Cutting

We were in formed by our home owner's insurance that we had some trees that needed to be "trimmed" or our insurance was over. So we got right on that and decided that they best plan of action was just to cut it down. It was planted way to close to the chouse to be able to cut it 5 ft away.

 

I love watching Rob be HANDY!!!

Partners in Crime!

2nd project DONE!!!

A few weeks ago I showed you my fabric. I finished the girls curtains and now finally late last night Rob helped and we finished the Front room curtains.

All I can saw is our front room window is Enormous!Here it is all finished and hung!

 

Project Emergency!

We have this nightly routine where my kids get to warm up thier bedbugs, if you don't know what a bed bug is scroll to the last picture and you will see.
Caleb brought his to me on Monday night almost in tear because there was a BIG Hole in his.

This little guy can no longer be used. Sad.

 

So I have been racking my brain trying to figure out to patch him or make a new one.
I sat down and made a new one this afternoon.

It wasn't eve that hard either.

Here is the little critter. I even reused all the wheat that was in the old one to fill this one up.

The lion materail is actaully from one of Caleb's baby quilt that Grandma made. I think he will like it.

One new and one old.

We had lot of fun. The kids had never been to a corn maze before so it was a lot of fun to see their reaction when we got there and started the maze.

We may have to make this a new family traditon.

Girls Room

While Rob has been gone this week I have kept myself busy with this little project. curtains for the Grils room!

I think they turned out great. I can't wait to see if the girls like them when they get home form school.

I have been wanting to do this project for a stinking long time. Finally I have a real reason to make art. I Have LOTS of wall space.

I'm glad that everyone was able to participate and we all had fun.

I still need to finish them and get them hung but don't they look great?
