We had to wait for daddy to get home, then we had to wait for dinner to get over, then we had to wait til after Family home evening was done.

The Bob Cake

Edwin wanted a Bob the Builder cake for his birthday this year. It is hard to find anything Bob these days but Rob came to the rescue and made this cake.

Edwin is super excited about it.

He could hardly wait to blow out the candles.

He had a ton of presents to open this year too. 

I can't believe he is four years old.

So about ten days ago our little Izzy went and climbed onto the tramp with her brother and sister and they were having lots of fun and she got bounced. I don't know the whole story but she apparently was bounced pretty good and hurt her leg. Since that day she will not walk. We took her to an urgent care that night and they could find/see nothing wrong with her leg.
so we waited and waited and waited. Today I took her back in hope that it had been long enough that maybe something would show up  on an x-ray now. Nothing
They referred me to a pediatric orthopedic doctor. by the time I got over there he had already had a chance to look at all the x-rays that had been taken and know what the problem was.
Can I just say I'm so happy and thankful for Dr.s that know their stuff!

She has an occult fracture, AKA toddler fracture, and will be in this cast for two weeks. until then we will be loving this bright new cast.

Rob loves food, we all know that. someone he knows gave him a challenge.

First trip to the aquarium

We decided it was time to go check out the local aquarium. It was fun and the kids really enjoyed it. here are some pictures from the day. I thiknk we will be going back a lot this summer.

Caleb loves to play soccer at school for recces. From the sounds of things he even does pretty well.

Today was a different story.

I got a frantic call from him today, no he wasn't hurt just felt TERRIBLE about his glasses being bent.

I'm so glad that we have a good insurance plan for his glasses.

And that we have another pair.

 

Not so little anymore

Happy Birthday to my Chloe! she turned six today and the one thing she wanted to do was get her hair cut. Now she looks too grown-up.
