Sick

This week Edwin woke up with a runny nose. It stayed for a few days and then thurday night/friday morning he woke up at 4:00 and couldn't breath like a normal child. He finally went back to sleep around 6:00. Needless to say it was a rough night.
I took him to the Dr. on Friday afternoon.
I was there from 3:30 to 5:00.
The test for RSV came back negative.
It was difenatly more then a cold.

He has Asthma like tendancies. We did a breathing treatment there. the change was dramatic.
we know have a nubulizer to use with him. After one day he is a new boy!
so much happier (most of the time).
Here are some pics of him being a big boy with is treatment.

So sorry to hear you have sick kiddos. But so glad you have something that helps. We all have colds at our house too and I feel so bad when kids are "too small" to give them any medicine.

Wow that is scary!!! Glad things have calmed down a little for ya. Poor kid and poor mom having to go through that.

Poor little guy! Our Carter was diagnosed with a "reactive airway" and we got a nebulizer for him too. It makes such a difference!! There were many times he woke up in the middle of the night and could barely breath, and the nebulizer saved us from going to the ER and we got more sleep too!! As Carter has gotten older the episodes have become fewer. Hopefully your little guy will outgrow it too.

Poor little boy! And poor mom - what a worry to see your kid struggle to get air right!? I'm glad you seem to have found a solution. What a busy time - sick kids, school starting, etc. Hope it all slows down a bit for you! Take care!

Too bad we don't live closer you could have borrowed Andrew's dragon mask. It makes the treatments so much cooler because as you breath the medicine the dragon breaths smoke.
